3,000 of the leading sustainability and corporate social responsibility leaders will convene June 4 -7 in Vancouver, British Columbia for a conversation on brand innovation for the 21st century at Sustainable Brands®.  This includes how the industry is already leading efforts to create innovative products and reduce, reuse or eliminate plastics from the production process, while others are leading campaigns to clean our oceans and use the plastics that wash up on our beaches.

Take a look at their board and members and I would also be able to make any introductions. You can find the full program here and a list of some of the brands that will be represented @SB18Vancouver, here.

McKenna said recently that Canada has a role to play in developing products that are easier to recycle and Canadians can do more to reduce the amount of single-use plastics in their lives.  He will also try to use the charter to push the G7 to work with industry to develop less harmful products and help developing nations create better waste disposal systems to keep plastics from the water.

But the industry is already working to develop less harmful products and working to clean our oceans. The week before the G7, 3,000 of the world’s leading sustainability executives will be in Vancouver, for Sustainable Brands annual gathering, to highlight their work in enhancing the circular economy for plastics and reduce packaging waste.  For example,
