Special Kids Deserve A Special Santa

For children and families living with autism, there will be a Special Needs Santa at Laurel Park Mall (37700 West Six Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48152) on December 4 and for those in Michigan's Upper Penninsula, , there will be a Sensitive Santa at Lincoln Elementary School (810 5th Ave E, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783), on December 4, from 1-5 PM. 

Two great events for deserving children and their families.  During this time, children can visit with Santa in a light sensitive environment. There will be no mall music and photos will be taken without a camera flash. This is a intended to provide a comfortable time for children with special needs to visit Santa.

Steve Bockmann, the event organizer, whose own son has autism is available for comment before or during the event.  Steve has been organizing this event for several years. We are also available for in studio interviews as well as the morning of. This is the first year it is at Laurel Park Mall.
