3 easy ways to move your audience to do something

Moving your audience to action is about influencing how they think and feel and ultimately, what you want them to do. By understanding the desired outcomes at the start, you’ll be able to develop messages that drive your key audiences to action.

  1. THINK: We want to get people thinking about the topic if they’re not already, or thinking about the topic differently if there is something new or different they don’t know about the topic.
  2. FEEL: Feeling is about connecting an emotion with a topic. Once you get your key audiences to think about something, we want them to feel strongly about the specific topic.
  3. DO: “Do” is about articulating the actions you want key audiences to take. When people feel strongly about something, they’re more likely to take action.
