Carbon is the new black and other media clips from this past week

As the year winds down our clients continue to have news to share, and this week was a big one. This week Zara released a series of dresses made from recycled carbon emissions made in partnership with LanzaTech. This is the first time you can wear something made from pollution. Congratulations to both partners. This announcement received global media attention in Fast Company, Business Insider, Marketwatch, Harper’s Bazaar, GreenBiz, BusinessGreen, Fashion United, Just Style, Sustainable Brands, and others.

The State of Michigan announced a substantial grant to Fermata Energy to bring their vehicle-to-grid charging infrastructure to Detroit and help power buildings owned and managed by Bedrock.

As we enter a new year you can expect to hear a lot more from both companies.

Finally, at times our clients will ask us to serve as their spokesperson, which we do on behalf of the Washtenaw Area Apartment Association as you can see from this article in MLive. Below you can find additional stories from the past week. As we reflect on the year we are grateful for the opportunity to share these stories and work for some real innovators, disrupters, and as I told one journalist today, even a rebel who is changing the way we think of doing business today for a better tomorrow. I wish you all a safe, healthy, and enjoyable holiday.
